Just received the Versa Friday and am so far loving it, still trying to figure it all out. I have noticed however that I do not receive my Text notifications on it. I have tried everything possible to try and get them on there and have come to the conclusion that my phone the LG G6 is not a compatible device. Please reconsider this and add it to your list. I love fitbit and really enjoy using the watch but would love to get all notifications on my new watch.

You are correct that your phone is not on the Approved Devices list. As you know now, it will still work on some things but not all. No telling if it will be added to the list or when.
Can you please share the changes you made to the settings on your phone to be able to receive all alerts on your Versa?
I have a LG G6 and the Versa. I receive all my notifications as I should. I didn't have to change any settinfs on the phone.
Best AnswerI've got an LG G6, but with an Ionic (very similar to the Versa, same OS etc), they work perfectly together. Just for reference, I use the default LG messaging app for SMS.
Have you tried changing your messaging app on your phone to something else (maybe the default messaging app)? Also remember to change the notification settings in the fitbit app to reflect this.
Also it wouldn't do any harm in restarting your phone and your Versa (Press and hold the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs, release when you see the fitbit logo).

Best AnswerThe G6 is a Flagship phone. However a few years old, there is no excuse for it not being a compatible device.
My Versa doesn't work with it well at all, which is strange since every other Fitbit I have ever owned worked flawlessly. I have to go through reset steps of my phone, fitbit, bluetooth, etc... several times just to get it to sync. At least once a day. It stops syncing shortly after 6AM every day.
I'm already in touch with someone via Facebook, but this is likely going back to the store. You won't be getting my money if you can't make sure a flagship phone is supported.
I can't get my G6 to synch reliably. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app just to synch stats. I haven't had any success in getting a single notification to synch.
I'll keep fiddling with settings but am extremely frustrated. Will probably send the Versa back.
I too am very disappointed that My shiny new versa a few days old doesn't work as well as my charge did with my LG g6. I'm on all day sync but it hasn't synched in 24 hours but I'm still getting notifications. can't link to WiFi or bluetooth most of the day. This is my fourth Fitbit device including the scale. How could the newest one be the worst one? A joke.

Hi,
I'm also a happy G6 user and not so happy Versa user. It syncs when it wants and I can't connect any other app or service. I had similar issues with my charge hr and I hoped the versa won't have the same issues.
Come on fitbit, improve the compatibility already.
I end up having to use my laptop to sync every few days.
X Read any of one of the top 100 reviews of Fitbit Versa and they all say it works with most Android phones. I had no inkling that I would need to check that a flagship phone wasn't supported. In fact about the only approved phones are the Samsung Galaxys. Shame on Fitbit.
I think most people seeing that when shopping would be prompted to find if their phone was among the "most" before buying.
