This is what I found out regarding earbuds for Versa 3. If the earbuds require a separate app like (Skull Candy), they will not work on the Versa 3. If the earbuds don't require any apps like Jam Ultra, they will work. I don't know why Fitbit doesn't tell you that. Hope this helps.

@Roadrunner45   A very interesting observation.  Thank you for sharing.  I wish I could add experience.  I wear Bose Sport, which use an app, but don't have a paid Pandora subscription to test it.
