Connected GPS not working Versa

What's going on with the GPS connect? I've gone through the entire protocol listed in the "help" section of the website three different times, have cleared the Bluetooth cache more than once, have cleared the storage in the Bluetooth - still won't connect to my phone's GPS. The Strava app on my phone connects to my phone's GPS within ten seconds, and my Versa won't connect even after five minutes. I rely heavily on this watch to help track workouts, and the fact that this is the third major GPS connect issue I've had in the five months I've had it is unacceptable. I'm reaching out here as one last ditch effort to keep this watch out of a dumpster and get real one. The last time I talked to customer service, it was the worst customer service experience I've ever had of any product, and I've never encountered such incompetence from a help desk. Please redeem yourself and prevent me from stomping on this thing and getting a Garmin.

May i ask what type of phone do you have? 

An my android a restart of the phone while the tracker is searching usually gets things going.
