Connected but cannot See main Screen

So I charged my watch yesterday and noticed this morning that the main watch face was not visible.  Instead I have a screen that shows steps in yellow and a timer below with a small triangle next to a spot that is going back and forth stating "paused" and a value (7.6).  On the top it says "Connecting...." with what appears to be a small phone symbol.  I have shut my bluetooth off and turned it back on.  I have unpaired and repaired my Versa Lite from the bluetooth screen.  I am hitting the side button to return to the home screen but it does nothing but switch the yellow text from the time to pace avg, heart rate, calories, steps etc.  In the top left corner there is a green checkered flag too.  Not sure what is going on and why it is doing this but what is happening and how can I get my watch to work properly again.  This is annoying.  I was all about Fitbit in the beginning but I find them to be a bit lax in the department of problem solving lately.  I had a Charge 3 and in about a year time frame I had to go through 2 replacements and in the last and final issue I had, they told me I needed to wait while they worked out a solution......for nearly 3 months.  This then put me over my warranty period for them to help directly and sent me to my extended warranty where I had to pay for a replacement.  A complete joke if you ask me.  I hope someone can help with this issue.

It sounds like you are in the exercise app, trying to connect to GPS, and paused.  Try tapping the checkered flag.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

That worked!  Well when I looked at my watch it then said do you want to end the exercise?  I said "Heck yeah" and it returned me to my screen.  Thank you and you can tell I have not used that app before.
