Control iTunes on my Versa?

Soooooo I am really hoping I am overlooking something here. But is there a reason why I cant seem to control my iTunes music on my Versa?

What I mean is when I am playing music on my iPhone off iTunes, when I hold the left button on my versa and go to Music Controls...why cant I play, pause, skip track for the music I am listening to?

Did you tell the Versa to control the music on your phone? The default is to control music on the ionic

I always assumed if I selected "Phone" it would mean "No I dont want to use my Versa...I want to control my music with my phone." haha.

That totally fixed it.

Sounds good but where is that setting located? That’s the big thing I’m missing on my Versa.

@SunsetRunner hold in the left button until the screen changes. If your not on the music control screen then swipe right. Tap on the 3 dots in the lower left corner. Choose the phone on the right. Tap the left button to back out.
