Dear Communities,
So, I have tried multiple troubleshooting steps provided by previous cases but none of them worked for me. And, here's my issue: I could not get notification to work on my Fitbit Versa. It was working when I was using another phone and my iPhone previously and it's seriously driving me crazy and I'm thinking about switching to another fitness band of some sort. My phone keeps showing me that "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker." I have restarted my phone multiple times to no avail. Switching on and off notification access, no avail. Unpair and pair again, no avail. Remove the Fitbit and add it again on my account, you know the answer.
Can anyone help me to identify the issue here?
The phone that I have is Redmi Note 7, running Android 9.0 Pie, MIUI Ver. 10.3.6.0 (PFGMIXM).
The Fitbit app is currently running on version 3.2
Fitbit Versa is currently running on firmware 32.33.1.30.
If you guys need anymore information, I'm more than happy to provide you with it.
P.S.: The "Send a Test Call Notification" option works, and I would receive notifications whenever someone calls me. The rest of the notification just does not work. Which is funny.

Alright... So, after weeks of testing and stuffs, I have finally found a fix and solution for my Redmi Note 7 phone and I think it should be applicable towards any Fitbit owners who has a MIUI phone.
Before you launch the app or do anything with it after installing, go to "Settings" -> "Manage Apps" -> "Fitbit" and make sure all the permissions are allowed. Then, make sure to turn on the "Autostart" toggle and scroll down to the "Battery Management" option and select "No Restrictions". Then, go to the main menu of your settings app and select "Additional Settings" -> "Privacy" -> "Special app access" -> "Notification access" and make sure that the toggle for Fitbit is turn on.
Once you have all these enabled and changed, then proceed with your initial launch of the app, sign in to your Fitbit account, pair with your device and notification would run smooth as butter!
One thing I have noticed is that, if these doesn't seems to work for you that well, remember to "Lock" the app on your "multi tasking window" view. You should not encounter with any issues after that as I have been able to receive notifications as normal now albeit delayed for a few seconds.

Hi @JediYeap The answer of why it is not working is that I cant find your phone on the Supported Devices List which I am pretty sure is tje problem. When a phone is not supported it often notifications that fail, and it sound like it in your case. All you can do is try all the suggestions in THIS Help Article on Troubleshooting Notifications. Sorry I am not more help
