Counting Stairs

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I live in a complex with 5 to 6 stories per building - each story accessible by at least a 10 foot rise. However, my Versa skips adding some floors and not others even though they are exactly alike. I usually only get 3 floors out of every five flights climbed. I thought it might be because it was trying to sync with my phone while I was climbing so I started leaving my phone home. For a while it seemed to help but not anymore. Why doesn't it count consistently inside the climate controlled building with no wind factor? Would resetting it help? If so, how should I do that?

Hi @arnettamae Are you holding onto a railing while go up the stairs?

You must go up 10 feet in elevation without stopping or holding on to anything for it to register a floor.

Thanks for trying, MarciM, but no. I only hold on to a rail while coming down the steps. Falling up the stairs  isn't as dangerous!
