Hello Team,

When IAM riding a bike by versa2 is detecting outdoor bike and counting steps. This is an error and ideally not to be counting steps for riding a bike or car.

Please fix this

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Fitbit Versa 2 is counting steps when you're riding a bike. Thank you for your time and feedback. Our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences, and your comments are always welcome.

When you ride a bike on bumpy trails, your device may add some steps. For most customers, the number of extra steps added when riding a bike isn’t significant when compared to your overall stats. Please find more information about this here

I experience the same issue with my new Versa 2. I bike at home 25 minutes daily. It always adds almost 2000 steps. Today I followed an advise and choose Spinning. No change, steps were added again. How is this possible?
