I just recently purchased the versa 2, but I am starting to regret my purchase. Are there any fitbits that actually counts steps on a treadmill, climbing machine, or step up machine, if you hold onto the handles? So far the only thing the watch has done is record my heart rat . But I'm trying to get an accurate reading on how many steps I take every day.. Please help

@Cheerykatshort answer is no. You have to be swinging your arms like you normally do when walking. Keep in mind that it will also count steps even if you're not moving but your arms are moving like flipping through a magazine or book or doing anything with your arms. Don't stress over how many steps your taking daily. 10,000 steps is just an arbitrary number. It's not a magic number. Focus on how active you are and how often.
