Custom Food on Fitbit App

I’ve been having issues all day trying to create a custom food to log. I enter all the details and save however if I then log it or try to find it in my custom foods list it’s not there. 
Ive tried to update the app, restart my phone and completely delete and redownload the app but I’m still having the issue.
