Bought a Versa 10th February. Got a data warning message from my provider today and noticed Fitbit has used 1.8gb in just over 2 weeks!? Latest app and firmware syncing with Note8 on android oreo.

@Shug696 That's a bit much. Mine used 900 mb last month (550 mb of mobile data and 350 mb on wifi). Turn off all-day sync or restrict background data for fitbit app when using mobile data.

Yeah I've already done both. Even 900mb seems like a lot of data for pulse, steps etc. I'd expect it to be max a couple of mb per day. Wonder what happens if I block internet completely for the app? All the info is on my phone?

@Shug696 No it need to talk to Fitbit servers all the time. That's where the data is stored and that's where all calculations are performed. You will not be able to sync etc if you disable internet. It simply needs to be ON. But you can turn off all-day sync or limit the mobile data for fitbit.
