I got might Fitbit versa for Christmas 2018, the battery hardly ever made it to the second day. Less than a month ago it died before the end of the day and hasn’t come back on since. It will not charge, light up or anything.

Hi @YojanaFitbit!
im having what sounds like a similar problem to @ABrown22 and others. My screen went a very dark grey yesterday evening, so I took it off to charge all night. It’s never looked like that when I have low battery, but that’s all I could think of at the time.
This morning, the screen is now completely black and inactive. I tried a reset, the green lights on the underside came on for a minute, so I tried charging again...thinking that maybe the first charge didn’t take because I had to restart. Nothing.
Any ideas on whats going on? It’s been over 24 hours now, and nothing is recording or syncing, obviously lol.
Thank you! I look forward to a quick reply and resolution.
Mishi

My Versa also died 12 hours ago. What is going on? Is this a widespread problem?
Just wanted to note that I was never able to do the update.
How odd.

I have the same issue with my FitBit Versa Lite. Last week it went dead hours after I fully charged it and since then it's not waking up anymore. When I charge it, the watch gets really hot but no sign when I turn it or press the left button.
It worked perfectly fine before that and the battery lasted around four days. No idea what suddenly changed 😞

They have reached out to me with a case number but are processing a ticket for me. Haven’t heard anything else since. It sounds like a bad batch that went out, so many people have experienced the same issue.

Update: Fitbit is sending me a new tracker. I followed the troubleshooting steps and the issue was not resolved as the battery was faulty, so a replacement is on its way. I hope everyone else’s issue can be resolved as well! Thank you @NellyG for finding someone to help me!
