Delayed Steps

I recently changed my screensaver and right after that I noticed that my steps on my Versa were delaying. I’ve had no issues with this until I changed the screensaver. I know for a fact that I’m taking more steps than it is tracking. I’d appreciate any help I can get with fixing this! 🙂

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @peri.t

I am glad to assist you with your concern about the accuracy of your tracked steps after changing the screensaver on your Fitbit Versa. Please note that sometimes, when you start walking, your steps may not update on your device right away. After about 10-15 continuous steps, you'll notice the steps catch up and start updating in real time with each step you take. I recommend checking your wrist settings (For more information, see Does the wrist I wear my device on affect accuracy?)

If you continue experiencing difficulty, I'd like you to restart your device as described in this help article. This will refresh your watch internally. Please monitor your Versa after that and let me know if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted!
