I would like to enable the Device Lock feature as recommended so that the PIN is entered when my watch is removed from my wrist or at least once per 24 hours. When I do this I miss my reminders to move periodically if I don't realize that the watch wants a PIN entered. I thought that update 2.2 was supposed to resolve this "bug" with Notifications? I do actually receive text, call and other notifications even if the PIN needs to be entered but not Reminders to Move. Are Reminders to Move not considered a "Notification"?
In the meantime I have set my Device Lock so that a PIN is entered only when wanting to use the Wallet feature (which unfortunately also includes the Music Controls and the Screen Wake/Notification controls).

Hi, reminders to move is considered as a seperate item, therefore it is not listed in notifications but directly underneath the notifications. The difference between notifications and reminders to move is that the last one only gives a reminder if you do not reach the goal of 250 steps/hour. You do not get a reminder if you're reaching this goal almost everytime.

It's odd that Fitbit would recommend as a setting in the Device Lock section of the Fitbit app that would block out as important of a feature as Reminders To Move. It's nonsensical for a fitness device to block a fitness reminder. For now I will need to resort to the non-recommended security feature of entering my PIN only when using my Wallet app and not when my watch is removed from my wrist.

@kcronin when setting the lock for only the wallet, the user does not need to put a pin in to gain access to settings or music control. After holding in the button, a simple swipe will bring a user to music or quick settings

@Rich_Laue I think you have misunderstood my posting. I wanted to use the setting that Fitbit recommends which is to set the PIN not just for the Wallet but also for the entire watch. However, this is causing me to miss the Reminders to Move if the Versa is looking for a PIN. Why would the watch be set up this way? Other notifications like texts and calls come through but not Reminders to Move? Crazy! Reminders To Move are one of Fitbit's best fitness features.
BTW, if I use the PIN setting for Wallet I DO have to input the PIN for the music controls (not the music app) and to get to the Screen Wake and Notifications screen since these are all accessed with the long press left button. I am unable to separate the Wallet access from these other two features. Odd that Music Control and Screen Wake would be under PIN lock.
It has not been explained to me why Fitbit would choose to block its own Reminders To Move within the its own recommended PIN setting for the Versa or how to set the Reminders To Move free from this restriction.

Fitbit doesn't recommend any setting for the lock, they give the user the option to choose what they want.
For me I find having the whole unit locked is a pain and since I've never seen a watch that has a lock in not sure why I would want the ionic to have one.
I've also noticed if the heart rate isn't detected the tracker gets locked, which just adds to the frustration.
As for music control and quick settings, I just tried again.
Hello button in, received the unlock screen, I now can swipe left or right, but I only have the lock set for Fitbit pay.
Yes if you have the lock set for the whole tracker then yes these will stay locked.
My only thought would be to set notifications to display while the device is locked.
As for why reminders to move do not show, this would be something to bring up with Fitbit support.
