“Device not found”

I keep going to sync my watch and it comes up with ‘device not found’ several times. I have done the troubleshooting things such as reset my watch/app, wiped my Fitbit and restarted, app up to date etc and it works then for a few hours and then stops again. It’s saying it’s connected but it won’t show the device on the app if that makes sense? Getting fed up of it now and getting tempted to return it as it’s still under warranty! Any one experiencing the same?

Have you tried turning your phone's bluetooth off and back on in phone settings?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My versa is getting the message device not found. The crazy thing is it does pair with the app on my computer and syncs just find there. I have factory reset the device. cleared cache and data from the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared bluetooth cache, on the device.  The other thing I have noticed, when i place the device in the charging cradle and open the app, it syncs. Then looses it again the next day. My phone is currently the Moto Z 4, running Android 9.0. My fit bit is up to date running 32.70.7..14; when i look in my bluetooth connections it never shows there, it does however show previous connected devices as the versa there, when i try to connect from there, nothing happens, i forget it, try to get it back and it will still never pair with the device. Any other suggestions are welcome. I think it is something to do with Android 9.0 and compatibility with the bluetooth. I have the same issue with my scales, it always drops the bluetooth connection. Have seen this happen with two different devices, since updating to the Android 9.0
