Can anyone tell me why my steps would be so different if the miles, time and pace were the same?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Pamh63. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern regarding the steps difference you see for the activities with the same miles, time and pace. Fitbit trackers calculate distance by multiplying your walking steps and walking stride length. Similarly, your running steps are multiplied by your running stride length. Please let me know what type of workouts are you comparing and how did you track your exercises? I will be glad to investigate.

For more information about the accuracy of the Fitbit devices, please see here.

Looking forward to your response.
