I am still debating between versa and Apple Watch. Although I am more toward versa because you just can’t Beat the price.
However not thrilled about not being able to get Spotify, as well as the fact that I have an iPhone so I can’t answer messages
. I am reading lots about answering calls but still confused on that. So if you have wireless ear buds you can answer calls? With this still with only android? Or both? I also can’t seem to get a for sure answer on how close your phone has to be to still receive these notifications.
Also Seeing a lot of stuff about how if your phone is not by it will stop tracking, is this true? So i can’t go for a run without my phone and track my steps and stuff? Or am I reading this stuff wrong?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Linnix. Sorry for the delayed response.
Thank you for your interest in purchasing the Fitbit Versa. I'm happy to answer your questions about its performance:
- Currently, like you mentioned, it is not possible getting Spotify on the watch, but there is an app called Spotify HR which is a remote controller for your Spotify account on your phone. For more information, please visit this site.
- Fitbit devices paired to an iPhone or Windows 10 phone can respond to Fitbit app notifications, such as messages, cheers, taunts, and friend requests. At the moment, it is not planned releasing quick replies for iOS devices but if there is any change in the future, it will be communicated on the Feature Suggestions board on the request called Quick Replies for iOS Devices
- If you have Bluetooth earphones you can answer calls on both iOS and Android (8.0+) devices. If your phone is running an older version of the Android OS, you can reject, but not accept, calls from your watch. Your phone has to be in a range of at least 10 meters to receive notifications.
- The Fitbit Versa doesn't have GPS so it uses the sensors of your cellphone (Connected GPS). If you want to track your activities with GPS, it will be necessary bringing your phone with you. Otherwise, the Fitbit devices are capable to register your activities without your phone. Information about how Fitbit devices calculate the daily activity can be found on this article.
