Difficulties to login to Uber app 1.0.11-Versa 2

I have seen historically other people having issues with login into the Uber app via the Fitbit app gallery when prompted to do so by the Fitbit watch. I cannot utilise this app as it just redirects me repeatedly onto the “login” page on the Fitbit app gallery in a loop. Over and over.
