@raguilar163 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since it won't connect with your WiFi.
Please let me know what is the brand and model of your phone. In the meantime, make sure that you are following the setup process as described in this help article.
Looking forward to your response! 😀

Thank you for your response. The article and instructions didn’t help. I believe I have a defective device. Out of the blue, my fitbit displays a big red X and says that the data has not been cleared and won’t respond. Aside from not being able to connect to wifi, the device was working just fine. My research tells me to re-sync (it doesn’t sync now) and reboot laptop/phone and turn device off/on. Nothing works now and all that I get is that big red X.

This exact same thing is happening to me, among other defects. When I try to revert to factory settings, my device shows the big red x and says data not cleared. But when I try to set it up again it won’t connect properly to Wi-Fi - the app just tells me that there is a problem. I have my versa 2 less than a week and I’m honestly on the verge of returning it.
