Is there any way I can disable the bottom right button while I'm exercising? I unwillingly press it, especially while biking, but also during weight training. This ends up screwing with the stats.
It really is a pain, especially for a device developed for exercising and training.
I thought I was the only one! This is a major design flaw with an easy fix. I doubt they will fix it though. I have seen posts for a find my phone app from years ago and has never been implemented. This is my first Fitbit let’s see if they are as good as I hope them to be.
This is a common complaint and has been a long time with no attempt to fix it by Fitbit. Sadly, the wife and I have come to the conclusion that the only real fix is to move on to another brand. Pretty sad really, I'm sure it's a simple fix to add an enable/disable feature in settings.
Best AnswerI am also very disapointed that my comment hasn't even received basic acknowlegement from the Fitbit support team, let alone a fix. I will also be moving on to another brand, as soon as Summer exercise season is over.
Best AnswerSeems that they are rolling this feature into the upcoming Versa 2, which doesn't have any buttons on the right side. Checkout their product page:
What that means for us consumers is that we'll have to drop another $200 to upgrade to a new device.
Best AnswerRight, so their answer isn’t a simple software upgrade to disable the button in settings but rather for us to throw in the trash the $200 “latest” model and replace it with the 2nd generation coming soon? No thanks.
