Disappointed in Versa

 Posting this here just as a heads up to others looking at versas. Full disclosure I started Fitbit with a charge 2 and never had a problem and absolutely loved the device. Wife bought me an upgrade and it’s been a completely different experience. 

So I received a new versa and was pretty excited. After a few days and having to charge it everyday I went online and noticed this was losing battery way quicker than normal. Called customer service, explained that I went to the forums and tried all the posted trouble shooting options. They said my bad pretty much, sent me a new one and all is good.

 

Immediately the new one i receive never syncs on command. It will sync on its own randomly every couple of days and that’s it. Never when I go into the app and manually try. I call Fitbit after all the trouble shooting and explain. They state that they are having this problem with a lot of versas and that I’m stuck with it until they come up with a solution. So I’m still here several months later with a watch that still doesn’t work and will only sync 1-2x a week.

So I just wanted to post this here, make sure anyone considering the versa has a heads up.

Hi @imdownforsure , do you own an iPhone with iOs13? If yes, got to Customer Support and click on top of the screen, on the notification regarding problems with Fitbit and iOs 13, the "learn more" possibilty. Maybe it either solves your problem temporarily or is just informative for you that Fitbit is aware of this problem and working hard on a solution for this problem. Regards kuzibri
