Disappointed in update

I loved my Versa when I first bought it.  It would turn on when I turned my wrist, it would buzz when to reached my daily step goals, it would buzz when a new message was received by my phone and it would buzz to remind me to move each hour when needed.  I was so happy with my purchase.  Then, a few months after my purchase, an update was released.  I should have know the update was not going to be good when it took my about 4 attempts to update my Versa.  After I finally was able to update my Versa, it actually turned out to be a downgrade.  Everything I loved about it disappeared.  To activate the face I now have to push a button and I can't change the brightness.  It doesn't buzz for any of my notifications.  I have tried turning on and off the Versa.  I have resynced it countless times.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone, nothing has worked.  I have gone from loving my Versa and encouraging everyone I talked to to buy one to warning people not to waste their money.  The only reason I still wear it is because of how much I spent on it.  I really want to love it again.  Does any one have a suggestion for a "fix" that  I haven't tried yet?

You have so much fluff in your post, I'm not sure what the issue is @Hamtown. Have you checked the settings and quick settings. 

 

Is quick view turned on? 

DND disabled? 

I'm not sure what else is not working.
