Versa Over charged?

I left my Fitbit charging for 2 days by mistake. Its not working properly. How can this be fixed?

Hi, what do you mean by "not working properly". Try to reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. Sometimes you have to do that more than once. See if this solves you problem.

Did something similar, let it charge over night and forgot to grab it the next day till later that evening when I got home

 

Immediately the touch screen stopped responding, only the buttons

2 days later it turned off while I was asleep and has not turned back on since

 

first issue I've had with it

 

would love to learn there's some way to recover as it's about 2 months past the warranty period and this is BS that leaving it charging for 30 hours kills it? how does it not have a proper over-charge circuit

 

for reference I've tried holding every combination of buttons and also plugging back in -- NADA
