Hello,

Just want to share my story. I got my first versa in March of 2018...it worked great for six months. I noticed that it was not holding a charge like it initially did. In fact, it needed to be charged after just one day of use. After following all the advice that I read on the forum, I ended up calling customer service. I did test on the battery like they asked me to and it was determined that Fitbit would send me a new versa. They did and I was really happy. I told a lot of people about the fantastic customer service and that this company stands behind its product. Well, it is seven months later, and my versa is not tracking my heart rate, which in turn effects many other features. No monitoring of sleep, no reminders to move, etc. I have followed all the suggestions...made sure the heart rate feature is turned on, turned it off and on several times, shutdown the versa several times, did a factory re-set, etc. Nothing worked. I called customer service last night. They offered me 25% off a new Fitbit, saying that my warranty had expired. Umm...no thanks. Two devices not working in a 13 month time period. I think that is a problem. My opinion is that the makers of the Versa should not have it on the market, unless you have basically perfected your product--you should not sell it. I would not say this if I only had problems with one Versa--but two in 13 months?? When I buy something and it says that I can do certain things with it like track heart rate, etc. It should do that. I will use my Versa, for now. But I plan on getting another smartwatch in the future, and it will not be a Fitbit. Of course, I will not be recommending this product to anyone else in the future.

I am happy to report that the Fitbit customer service team emailed me this afternoon and said that after reviewing my case, they have decided to replace my Versa--free of charge. Talk about great customer service! I am really hoping that this Versa will continue to work with all of the features that I love for a very long time. I hope for the sake of this company that my experience is not a common one, I don't think it makes for a very profitable business. All that said, I really do love my Versa...that is why I have been so disappointed when it has not worked properly. Great job standing behind your product, Fitbit!
