Mi Versa 2 is defect (back button not working) but still under warranty. I got the from Fitbit the option for a replacement Versa 2 or a 50% discount on a new watch. I was interested to upgrade to a Versa 3 or Sense but the conditions talk about the the discount is not applicable to those two models. Sorry, somewhat dumb question but can someone confirm this really the case? If that is the case I will probably go for the Versa 2 replacement.

Hi @FitSirius the offer only pertains to the models you're allowed to use it on and it won't be for the Sense or the Versa 3. This has been standard policy for all the years I've been on the forums. Customer support told you correctly. Asking on the forums, you'll only get responses from members, who do not work for Fitbit or know all the information.

Sorry, the title is wrong! It should read: "Discount offer for defect Versa 2"

If you chhose a replacement it takes a month to go through the process of mailing it to FitBit. Using their USPS/FedEx label, it took 2 weeks for my Versa 2 to be delivered to their warehouse in San Francisco. Then it takes at least 5 business days for FitBit to locate the package and even begin processing the transaction. You will get nothing but preprogrammed language from their reps. It's been a month since I started a return process and I still don't know when my replacement will be sent. Do what you can to prevent this from happening to you.

Thanks for the warning. But what alternatives do I have then to wait and see what happens? I live in Europe - I do not know if that makes a difference or makes it even slower...
