Discrepancy between Versa and mobile app run tracking

Hello All!

Recently started running, but keep having trouble connecting the Versa wristbit to my Android Mobile GPS to end up with a tidy map in the end (i.e. I have data, but no GPS track & data most of the time) - therefore, I decided to turn on the run tracker in the app directly AND at the same time activate the RUN exercise on the wristbit.  Now, as I look at the data, there seems to be a huge discrepancy between the two:

 

 

Any ideas why this might be happening?  Also, if I do BOTH, I think the calories get added on to the daily total for BOTH, right?  Thank you for any insights! Smiley Happy   Cheers ~ Max

@JaxMax it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! By the way, I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since your exercise with GPS track doesn't match the info on your Dashboard.

 

Please make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, try logging out of the app, restart your phone, open the app and log in. After this, restart your Versa as described in this help article.

 

Finally, check out this help page and make sure that you are following the steps in order to track your exercise properly.
