I am so dissatisfied with Fitbit's support.

I contacted Fitbit support, I was told to wait an unspecified time for a 'software' fix. They wouldn't share how long they have been working on this problem. I found messages on the community board about inflated floor counts that date back to October of last year. 

The Versa 3 is still on sale without any disclaimer of the software issues. I am actively exploring alternatives to Fitbit wearables, and I will no longer suggest Fitbit devices to anyone. On the contrary, I will suggest anyone who asks, to avoid Fitbit devices due to poor customer service.
