Distance recorded not correct

Hi there my versa is less than 2 weeks old and I have already posted about the fact that it recorded 5.89 km on a 5k parkrun, I was guided to a thread already existing which didn't really help to fix the problem. 

 

So yesterday morning I downloaded the new update hoping that it would sort out the distance issue (which reading the thread seemed to require you to transfer info to another app to get the right info) which I dont think you should have to do on a fitness watch with app that supports the product.

So following the update I have lost the steps, floors, distance part on my dashboard of my app. I have logged out, forced stop, deleted and relogged into my fitbit and it is still the same. I can now only see my steps total on my watch and i cNt see the distance anywhere.

 

As today I ran the 10k tatton yule yomp (which my watch registred as 10.93k) I am less than impressed with the versa 2. 

 

Pls people of the uk, if you think your versa 2 is not working as it should under the consumer rights act 2015 you have a possible right to have a repair or replacement within 1 year and then a right to finally reject.  This for me is a terrible fitness watch and I am really beginning to lose faith with it - I met someone on the 10k run today from another part of the country who had the same issue as me. 

 

This is my third fitbit product and maybe my last. I am seriously considering taking this watch back as it is totally not fit for purpose.
