Am considering buying versa. Wearing a blaze now with a strap that i really like and prefer. Wondering if versa would be able use the same strap as that of blaze. Thank you.

Oh, and also, yes, it's infuriating that Fitbit seems to put in overtime ensuring that their accessories aren't compatible across models. Not even the chargers. I've had so many different Fitbits (clearly, I'm the problem here, because I keep buying them), and I've had to buy all new accessories for each.
What's even weirder is I seem to recall that someone asked why the Versa band design is the way it is and the Fitbit moderators response was along the lines of "for compatibility." Compatibility with...? Their long range plans to sell more stuff, I guess.

@Oxenfurt Another user said that she was able to put her Versa in the Blaze band. My husband has a Blaze -- so I checked it out. You can get the Versa in. I don't know if the buttons work. But I emphatically do not recommend doing this. The Blaze band is not designed for a Versa and I am very concerned that the Blaze band will scratch the Versa case.

@Oxenfurt I think @LZeeW is "talking" about using the Blaze frame. The bands are a bit different. The Blaze lug size is a tiny bit bigger than the Versa lug size, so it should theoretically work. However, the Versa connection is at a very finicky angle, so it might not be awesome. You might want to check on Amazon or eBay to see if you can find the same band for the Versa.

Thanks for the reply! I'll be checking out the fitting and bands that are similar to my current one for blaze then decide what to do when i get versa.

Thanks for the reply! I would most likely just get a separate band for versa, don't want to save on a few bucks just to damage the buttons!

@Oxenfurt@meresydotes Yes, I was referring to placing the Versa in the Blaze frame. That is what another user mentioned. Fitbit has this uncanny way of making sure that accessories are not interchangeable and my "eyeball" test says the pins on the strap are not the same length.
I could be wrong.

When my Blaze died I asked fitbit what replaced it and they told me Versa. So I purchase it. What a disappointment. You are correct. The accessories for the Blaze does NOT fit the Versa; but I did as this question before I purchased the Versa. I hate the watch face; it is very difficult to read the numbers. The screen doesn't seem to be as large as the Blaze. I'm going to send it back. I hope I can figure out which watch has the same size screen as the Blaze. I don't need all the bells and whistles but I will be forced to purchase them if it means I get a larger screen and a better design for reading the clock.
