I have a Versa 2 and the Fitbit app is installed on my ipad. I have an Samsung phone, but it only has android v 5 and can't be upgraded any higher. So the phone is not compatible with the app. My potentially silly question is should I still be able to pair the Versa 2 with the phone over bluetooth just for the GPS location services or can you only paid with a phone if the app is also on the phone ? I did try but the watch does not appear on the phone as a device when attempting to pair. I have checked the GPS connect settings in the exercises and that is on. I did try the manual, help and community but it is not clear whether I am wasting my time with this phone. Thanks for any help.
