Does your Versa 2 screen turn off by covering the watch face ?

Does your Versa 2 screen turn off by covering the watch face with the opposite hand, as described in the user manual? Mine does not. If yours does work, how long did you have to cover over the watch face?

My Versa 2 is on the latest firmware version 35.68.9.15.

I have raised a case. The help desk agrees I should ask is anyone else in the community facing the same issue so they could determine is it a ongoing problem.

@kiat626   If I hover my hand over the screen, without touching the screen, it does not shut off.  It shuts off when the palm of my hand touches it. I was able to reproduce this repeatedly.

Mine seems to work fine and is pretty much instantaneous.

I assume you're not using the "always-on" screen setting as this disables the feature.

That's right.  Always-on is set to off. Is your Versa 2 also running the latest version?

So that's what they meant by cover. Got to touch the screen! I can turn off the screen now. Thank you.
