I have finally come to realize that fitbit products are pretty much throwaways. I had a 1 until the battery got to not holding any charge. No way to replace it. Now my one-year-old Versa 2 becomes totally nonresponsive a few minutes after I remove it from the charger. I have tried everything I found online to get it working again, and nothing helps. Very disappointing, frustrating, and a waste of time and money.

Hi @Springbank - it's not unknown for them to become unresponsive but it is probably easily fixable.
Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you solve it.
Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
If it is still under warranty and found faulty it may be better to take it to the shop for a new replacement, rather than accepting a refurbished replacement from Fitbit and dealing with sometimes drawn out return and shipping issues.
