Just got my Versa 2 SE for Christmas and I already want to box it up and go back to my Alta HR.

* Notifications either never come or come late

* Can't use my free Spotify or Pandora account with it....

* Drops WiFi connection constantly

* Pairing with Bluetooth is a nightmare

* Can't download my own music to the watch...when I try to transfer...the fitbit app (which it stated I had to have to transfer is "still looking for my watch" and the "having trouble connecting" is no help or assistance....

You are right....it should not be this hard!!!!!

For the money paid for this device it should flow easy!!!!

Frustrated....very frustrated!

@Sonshine76  If you go to your app store and search Fitbit Connect, it should come up. It isnt labelled Fitbit Connect and looks very similar to the app, but on my laptop at least, I was able to get my music to my Versa using it. Are you using a laptop (or computer)? What operating system is it running?

@miversaamor  What phone are you using? Is it on the Supported Devices List  ?

Hi @miversaamor  oh no, thatis unfortunate. The Alta HR has the old operating system so is more forgiving of unsupported phones. The New OS is pretty cool but demands a bit more from the connection to the phone. That is likely to affect notifications and maybe syncing.  You DO need to have a paid Pandora or Deezer account to use those music apps, however.

To transfer your own music you need to do it from a computer or laptop, using Fitbit Connect (not the app). Is that what you were trying to do?

I managed to get my Versa 2 connected to my Win10 computer via Wi-Fi using the Fitbit Win10 app, and it will even see SOME of my iTunes playlists...just not the ones I've created. It sees my iTunes-created playlists (Like 'Recent Songs") and it sees really old playlists I deleted years ago, but it won't see my current user-created playlists. So, it's useless. Guess I keep using my phone to play music at the gym. Ugh.

It's a really complicated process because none of their links work, and even the agents (customer support) are confused about it, but I finally go it.  Head to https://www.fitbit.com/uk/setup

I finally was able to download the Fitbit Connect on my Mac and I'm downloading my playlist as I write this.

This is a step by step in how to make it work:  https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2251/#Streaming

The support seems to be useless

To download the Fitbit connect try this link instead (the one they provide was broken at the time of writing this, and this one worked flawlessly): https://www.fitbit.com/uk/setup

not sure if it's only for mac

Being able to store music on my watch is one of the main reasons I went with this. The PC just sits there saying looking for your watch. Very frustrating . These things should be simple rock solid before they ship. Fitbit is just using us as product testers.
