Despite lots of chatter about duplicated notifications (texts, emails) from smartphones to Fitbit watches, I have found no solutions other than "we're aware of the problem" and "factory reset everything."
Can anyone from Fitbit confirm that this is still a known problem and that a solution is forthcoming. Or, even better, that a solution has been found.
Problem in a nutshell: each time I get far enough away from my smartphone (one of many iPhone versions that this has happened on, from iOS 11 to 13), when I get close enough for my Versa 2 to re-connect to the smartphone Bluetooth, my notifications are repeated. Over the course of a day, I may get 30 of EACH notification repeated.
I only need notification once for each message.
