Durability

I have had the Charge HR 2 for about 2 years now and I’ve gone through so many parts wether it be a broken band or a cracked screen. I somehow cracked my 2nd or 3rd screen and I’m ready to find something with a more durable screen. Though I love the size of the Charge 2 I am not opposed to something else. I’ve been checking out the Versa and in the promotional video they emphasize the durability of the screen. Isn’t this true?

I have the Ionic and the Alta HR and haven't had any screen problems.  I can't speak for the Versa as I haven't physically been able to get my hands on one.

I would suggest that from the many posts here the versa screen is not durable. And cracked screens are not covered by the Fitbit warranty. If you get a Versa, by all means buy a screen protector and put it on before you wear the device.  I did that and now I notice a small line up in one of the corners.  I hope it is a mark on the screen protector and not a cracked screen.

From reading many users on this forum, the versa screen doesn’t not seem durable at all. Many have cracked their screen within weeks of using it from daily wear, small bumps, or even charging it! I have my versa which is protected by a case and screen protector. I have honestly bumped it a few times and checked for cracks which I haven’t gotten any (knock on wood). But if you do decide to still get a Versa, I would not buy it directly from FItbit due to their poor customer service and cracks/scratches are not covered under their warranty. I bought mine from Best Buy and bought the Best Buy warranty that does cover daily wear, cracks, and scratches.

Not Durable!

My screen started getting scratches after a week or 2 and I've seen lots of posts about cracked screens. Not happy with it and their customer service is terrible. If you want to try it make sure you buy through Best Buy or someone who has a reasonable warranty.

DO NOT buy on their website like I did.

Same - my daughter's Versa 2 cracked within 2 weeks and their warranty has no coverage for the screen. Super disappointed.
