Entering weight into FitBit dashboard fails.

I have a Tanita scale and after several years of waiting I have given up on it every being integrated into FitBit.  As such, I decided today to start entering my weight by hand.

My first surprise was that there were already a whole series of entries, with my weight set to 0.2 lbs, and my body fat varying between 40 - 46%.  I do not remember ever making any of these entries.  I started to delete them one by one, but that got really boring around the 30th entry.  I looked everywhere for a bulk delete, but no luck.

So, I started with my weight on Oct 10th figuring I would work my way back.  I can enter my body fat percentage, but when I enter my weight, it puts it in as 0.2 lbs no mater what I enter.

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Haven't tried it for a few years, but at one time tried entering old weight data from pre-Fitbit log into fitbit.com dashboard and it worked but was tedious to go back through time.  Never tried it through phone app, don't remember why - it was probably quite different then.  What I did was

fitbit.com dashboard > log > weight

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for responding.
The website was where I was entering the data.  Maybe I should try the
app. :-}

I’m assuming you set a new weight goal using the App?

I have not.  But, how is that tied to being able to enter my weight?

@swheeler Setting a new weight goal using the APP & recording your current weight will allow you to track your weight loss & ignore those prior bogus entries. There’s no way to do a bulk delete to clear them (that I know of). Let us know if this works? Good luck!

@swheeler Hi. Don't know about correcting your history, but on the app, if I click "you" on the bottom right, then click my name, a personal page comes up. I was able to change my weight in that page. .
