I bought a Versa about 3 days ago and I already have a Charge 2. Today, I was wearing my Versa and my Charge 2 was in a signal blocker bag. However, the signal must have 'leaked out' as I noticed my Charge 2 had synced not long ago.
The issue is that my Fitbit app has logged basic sleep between 11:27am - 4:24pm when I was awake and wearing my Versa. I assume this information must have come in when the Charge 2 synced. Can anyone explain why this has happened as I thought the app was meant to understand which tracker I am wearing. I know I can delete the sleep but I don't want this interfering with my real sleep or other stats.

@annieuk I cannot explain why CHarge 2 recording was chosen over Versa, but the good practice is to put the charger in such way that the sensor lights cannot reflect from any surfaces - tables, bags etc as this may cause the sensor to stay ON and "think" you're wearing it with a steady and slow HR (just like when you're asleep). I put my charge on the night stand, on its side while wearing Versa. Never had any issues.

Thank you @Marrrmaduke. I have not used the blocker bag today and it seems to be working better. I sometimes lose a few calories when I swap them over even though I try to sync them both so they catch up with each other.
I didn't know there was a night stand for the charge 2. Do you know where this might be available in the UK?

@Marrrmadukeha ha, that's so funny.
I think I'm still having problems as I wore my Charge 2 all night last night and the Versa was on my desk in the room next door. The whole of my 6 hour sleep was recorded as basic sleep info. I didn't wake up much during the night and definitely slept for more than 3 hours. This is the first time this has happened to me since I've had the Charge 2 which I've had since July.
I turned off bluetooth when I went to bed which is what I often do so I don't inadvertently get notifications if I've forgotten to switch them off in the Fitbit.
Would it be prudent to turn the Versa off completely when I'm wearing my Charge 2?

@annieuk You can try that. Honestly I have never had this issue, but that was way before the recent Fitbit mobile updates... I think the issue might be different (maybe?). Some posters reported that when Versa couldn't sync they got no sleep stages or no sleep recording at all. So, perhaps if you're not using Versa just flip it belly up on your bedside table (lolol) - so the sensor is not blinking and the tracker is near your mobile - and see what happens. That's what I usually do. Of course, you can turn off Versa as well. That will also eliminate interrupted sync possibility. And, it definitely won't hurt. 😄

Thanks again @Marrrmaduke. I turned the Versa off last night and it seemed better. I'll continue to monitor it. I've also taken to turning off the heart monitor on the Charge 2 when I'm not wearing it so that hopefully it doesn't confuse the app.
Many thanks for your help.
