Error with device calculating rowing pace

My versa gives me the choice to categorize Excersize as rowing machine but when I input distance, it briefly showed the accurate pace then reverts back to the standard 28”00 so it’s hard to see progress. Any suggestions? This is a new versa. I had a surge before and it calculated fine.

@Jpatt1 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry to hear that you aren't getting the correct pace when renaming your activity. Where are you viewing this data? Could you share a screenshot? Try logging this from a different place (ie. if you are using a phone then try a computer). Since this isn't an activity that you Versa can record I am not sure how accurate the pace will be but you said that you didn't have any issues with your Surge device. If you wish try manually logging the activity to keep a record of the caloric burn.

Here on the app. I don’t have another device to view it on. The surge would display an accurate pace (ie, 7’34). The one in the screenshot was 2.1km and when I input distance it changes briefly to the right pace and distance but then snaps back to the default.
