I recently bought the Versa to pair with my new HuaWei P30 Pro. While all other function is working well, I have problems with linking the GPS to the bike exercise app. I could not get the distance and speed recorded. The calories count and heart rate is working, just the distance and speed. It getting frustrating and i would appreciate some help.
Thks much.

Hi @Jaserene I looked up your phone on the Supported Devices List and unfortunately it is not on the list. This doesnt mean it wont work, but some fu ctions may not work properly, and I think that is probably what is happening with your phkne. And I doubt there is anything you can do to improve it (but of course, I coukd be wrong there!)

Thanks for the reply, Nelly. That's unfortunate. I assumed the functionality of the app would depend on the android firmware rather than the phone itself. Hope Fitbit is able to make the app work on HuaWei phones soon.

Does your Fitbit receive notifications from the phone and are you able to reply from the wrist, @Jaserene?
Gps links through the Fitbit notification services running in the background of the phone.
Also if the phones power management is allowed to monitor Fitbit, fitbit will be suspended when moving the app to the background. Power management for Fitbit must be disabled for gps and notifications to work.

Thanks for getting back, Rich.
I don't receive notifications from the phone as well, although i did set it to be able to do so.
And the power management for fitbit is off. 🙂
