Hi there @DeborahHillside. Welcome to the Fitbit Community. 

Please if you can share a little bit more info would be very helpful. Meanwhile trying to restart the device by pressing and holding the side button for 10 is something that used to work to fix most of the issues.

Originally the exercise button was not working. When I press it the
exercise logo would just keep coming up. No exercise selections as it
usually would. I did the reset like you told me and now it just shows the
Fitbit logo on the screen. I have put it on the charger (it had 68%) but
nothing is happening. It is not resetting and I've tried it several times.
