Two weeks ago, my versa lite had slow or even no response on touching screen. After reboot and factory reset, the problem stll existed. It seemed something stuck in the memory. I installed fitbit 3.11 in order to downgrade the firmware. The response was fast at first but slow after a short period. Again I installed fitbit 2.95. The same thing happened. Once more, I installed fitbit 2.90. It took about 8 hours to downgrade the firmware. It works ! The versa lite is very smooth now.
I guess that the previous two fitbit app versions did not flash the memory fully so that some codes still exists in the memory.

Firmware? link to firmware information - click. I think you mean the app, not the firmware?

Different version of fitbit app seems to associate with different version of firmware. Fibit 2.9* associates with 38.33.1.30.
Fibit 3.* associates with 38.70.314.

Hi @Odyssey13 , thank you for your help.
@Klleung a warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for trying to solve the situation by yourself.
As with all electronic devices, it's always recommendable to keep them updated.
We do not recommend to use another Firmware and/or app version as the current one.
Keep in mind that with the updates the app gets optimized according to the changes made in the operational system of the mobile devices. With that, the Firmware also must be optimized to avoid situations as eg. devices not syncing, or not receiving notifications.
Also using an older Firmware version might disable some functions introduced in a later update. eg. Sleepmode, Smartalarms, etc.
As a recommendation, please do not try the factory reset, unless advised by a Support member or a moderator.
Support was informed, and the'll be contacting you via email regarding the display situation.
Please update your watch until then, so that our team can research and provide you the best help possible.
Please keep me posted.
