Every time I go into my fitbit app, it says I have a notification, but I have read my notifications. This red dot indicating I have a notification will not go away and I am unsure how to fix it. I need help please. I’ve tried everything I can think of

Thank you

*UPDATE: I fixed the problem

You could try ignoring it!  It should disappear once you read your notifications. Try uninstalling the app, reinstall and log back in and see if that fixes it!

Same here. I’m an ‘inbox zero’ type so this red dot bugs me! My situation is slightly different though as my messages were stuck in Sept 2017 and not refreshing at all to reflect current progress. The red dot goes away after I swipe down to refresh but the messages are still stale. Looking forward to a fix soon!

I’ve had the ongoing crazy red dot on “notifications” on my iPhone 7+ For many weeks and can’t remove it after trying many suggested solutions.

I got a message through my Fitbit app about 3 weeks ago and every time I open the app it displays the “red dot” notice at the bottom right notification area. How can I get this to stop? I tried deleting and re-adding the app and it didn’t work.

According to the following thread, this is a known bug that's affecting the iOS app.

Keep an eye on that as fitbit seem to be posting updates there.

After six weeks and several Fitbit updates the “red dot” issue still persists on my iPhone. Please study the problem and come up with a fix!

This has not been fixed and I just got my Vesa 2 the other day. The comments I have been reading are way back in 2019. Whats up?

Meant to post today's date    2-12-2020, post are way back a year ago. It should not take a  year to fix a bug!
