Feedback about Fitbit Versa

I really would like to get the Versa to track my sleep habits but I have to pay $10 a month after already paying you $200 for the watch to do so?! That's ridiculous! All you give for "free" is a score and no in depth stats. Sorry if someone is paying $200 for a watch they shouldn't also have to pay a monthly subscription to access to capabilities of the device they paid good money for. Shame on you FitBit.

I dont have a watch. I was researching them and found out the only way you get a break down of your sleep, like the cycles of sleep, restlessness, ect is to pay for premium. That's ridiculous, if I spend $200 for a device there is no reason I should be forced to pay another $10 a month to access it's full potential. I would love to get one but I'm not going to pay an extra $120 a year to get the only function I truly want the watch for. It's an absolute joke.

@Hable13   As with yourself & others in the FitBit Community that post on here we do so to help each other.  We are not FitBit employees.

Sleep is already tracked 'Normal or Sensitive without you paying a premium'.  https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2437#insights

Only features the Premium includes are:

Analysis of sleep duration
Restoration: Sleeping heart rate & restlessness
Analysis of sleeping heart rate & restlessness

Thank you for your help man. I do appreciate  it. I'm personally  just annoyed that now days every company does microtransactions to get more money out of the consumer.

So this chart is included in the free version

I agree it's really annoying to have to pay Fitbit additional monthly subscription on the Versa to see more data.

Regarding sleep tracking, there is actually not much point paying the extra $10 per month just for that.

As basic stats, you still get the graph with sleep stages, and see overall sleep score.

As paid stats, you can drill down into the sleep score, and see three components to it:

  • the sleep stages, and amount of deep and REM sleep
  • time asleep overall and awake
  • how often during the night the heart rate was below the standard resting rate

Only the last measure is not available at all in the basic stats, but the first two are already there.

Thank you, I guess I misunderstood  what I had read. I ordered one and look forward to tracking my sleep so I can help figure out why more days then not.

Isn't the age of micro transactions annoying tho? I just dont get why, if we are paying good money for a product, we have to pay extra money to unlock it's full potential. In this case to the tune of an extra $10 a month/$120 a year. God I hate capitalism!
