So, I bought a Versa (the original, not 2 or Lite), because it seemed to have promise with the issues I had with my Blaze. But I'm really disappointed that the one thing that I really wanted fixed is still an issue.
When the Sleep Mode settings came out, I was excited. I saw that the two options for screen wake were "Auto (Motion)" and "Manual (Button)". When turning on the sleep mode it said the screen would only turn on with the button.
But nope. Tap to wake still exists. Bumping the side of my device (not on a button) or tapping the screen will still turn on the screen. Why is this simple boolean still not something we have access to turn on and off in 2019. Why the heck, if I don't want motion to turn on my screen, would I want it to turn on when I bump my wrist on something? There's been complaints about this for at least 4-5 years now.
I want to only use the buttons to turn on the screen. No motion, no device tapping. Just. Buttons.
