My versa lite won’t sync to my phone anymore. I contacted Fitbit support and after exhausting all troubleshooting I was told I would get an email about my warranty. So basically they couldn’t help me but was told I have a faulty device. This is the second time in 1 1/2 years I have had issues that could not be resolved. My replacement to my faulty device is another faulty device. If after this email I can’t be helped I will be looking else where for a fitness tracker/smart watch. These devices are too expensive to keep replacing every 8 months.

I'm with you..
Time delayed for 10 min, 20 mins, now 3 hours after waking up. Now after 3 tries with support I got an email for 35% off on a next Fit Bit. I brought this in Dec 2019 ( so just past 1 year anniversary ) Does not look promising..

My Fitbit Versa Lite has been losing time since before Christmas, it has not synced now in several days. It is currently almost 5 hours behind time. My husband also has a Versa Lite, so far his hasn't had the same problem, but his is several months newer than mine. My was purchased last February, just before the Covid hit. What is happening to the quality of the Fitbit products?

So what I have done to sync my watch via blue tooth is just take the watch off from my wrist.
Go to the fit bit app,
Go to your profile picture, go to account
Look for your watch ( versa Lite
Hold the side button for 10 seconds and place it against the phone screen
At bottom , press sync now
It may take awaile but I had to do tthis every morning just to get the time corrected.
Why I do this? I don't know the time is going to be delayed through out the day.
It is frustrating, after chatting with FITBIT Gurus 3x ..They sent me a 35% off on my next fitbit purchase. I think they lost a customer..UGG.

Hi Bonnie,
After doing a lot of research I’m finding a lot of other smart
watches/fitness trackers are having syncing issues as well. I’m thinking
they are pushing out products before doing all the necessary testing. I
have cheap Bluetooth headphones that have never had an issue syncing to my
phone and they are 2 yrs old now. Not wasting anymore money on faulty products from Fitbit.

I got my Versa Lite at the end of July. Never had any problems until last month when I noticed the time wasn’t correct. I’ve tried many times to sync it including factory reset. It’ll synce for a few minutes and then lose Bluetooth. We even tried my son’s phone, a different brand, and had the same issue. We did get it to sync with my desktop computer but I’m hardly ever near it. Doesn’t sound like the warranty is worth a whole lot. I got my old Charge 3 Fitbit out and charged it and it’s working great, just didn’t have the features of the Versa Lite.
