Because most of thinks works on Versa unlike Charge 3, I´ll start with positive points. I had Charge 3 and payment didn´t work. Why I have now Versa? Because on market only Fitbit does smart watches for small arms that also have three things what I want from smart watches. And they make them nice and small with many nice bands. Because of this hole in the market, they can afford to produce not perfectly working goods.
I have for you also two helps when you have sync issues what fitbit help does not know about it! And one more help when you can not control music.
Three things I need on watches working:
1) Showing time as I want - watch faces
2) Showing notification from mobile
3) NFC Payment
1) There is lots of faces from Fitbit store where I don´t like single digital one :-). I´m using FitFace for faces and I´m happy fully.
2) Showing notification is something what mostly does not work, sadly. Same was on Charge 3. This is biggest issue, because syncing problems. And even when syncing is working, the problem with notifications exists. And belive me that restart of smart watch, mobile or application does not help you most times! If you want a smart watch without sync problems, avoid Fitbit or live with this never ending issue. The help I promised I´ll mention in the end.
3) NFC Payment on Versa works. And if you meet a problem, you have option in Fitbit application suspend card and resume card that loads the card again and it will work. No need to activate again.
4) You can control music from watches, but many times you can´t, because even when the watches are connected with mobile, the watch does not show music control buttons. When you swith to play from watch, the control buttons are showed, then switch to mobile control and you can control music. This is easy to fix, but FitBit does not fix much.
While I´m writting the Versa not sycing at all, restarted everything, but no help and yes I know, this is FitBit. So what more you can do?
1) In the mobile in the bluetooth connection you can see Versa. Click on forget connection. It took a while but the sync started working and the funny thing is, even without the new connection Versa. 🙂
2) Once you connected fitbit application in the computer with your watch because of for example music transfer (remember your computer needs to have bluetooth), the connection stays and can prevent your mobile to connect with watch. Go to bluetooth connection on your computer and click to forget Versa connection. This will help you prevent some of sync problems.
Still keep FitBit product as me? Good luck, you will need it! 🙂
