I have been trying for two days to update firm ware on my Versa via WiFi and Bluetooth with no luck. I am very disappointed that I am having this issue. I have logged out of fitbit app as well as uninstalled and installed later. I have turned off bluetooth on my phone and back on, I have turned my phone off and back on, I have tried on another device. Sometimes I will get a message saying that fitbit bluetooth is busy. The process has started on several occasions and get to 2 out of 3 and I get the red x.

I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with a rep and sti could not get the firmware updated. I have been without a watch now for 4 days. I am very disappointed in this update. 😥

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains some steps that you already tried but you can skip them since you already tried them. After this, try to run the firmware update again and see if it gets completed.

I'm having the same issue. I have a first gen Versa and I can't get the firmware to update no matter what I do. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset my Versa several times, tried over wifi and bluetooth and kept both my phone and watch charging and it just won't go. Help!

Did you ever find a solution? I'm still unable to update. I waited 3 hours with a stagnant red bar yesterday, tried again over night, and multiple times today. This is ridiculous.

I spent over an hour chatting with an agent yesterday. He had me do all kinds of things on my phone to disconnect and reconnect the watch. I thought it would work after that but it did not. I still can't get it to update. Someone needs to figure this out asap.

I agree. It is insane that a Fitness Watch is this much of a hassle to Update. I too have wasted hours trying to update it, and have tried everything. Tried updating it with my phone, at the motel, and at Starbucks. Waited forever, only for it to fail. I used to love it, but now never use it. Only other option I see, is to smash it since it is completely useless. Will never trust Fitbit again

The only thing that worked was resetting my watch and when it restarted the firmware updated. But that shouldn't be the case and it's super annoying that that's what it takes to update.

I have been having issues with my Versa for a couple of weeks. This is becoming rather ridiculous and I love Fitbit but the not being able to sync is not fun when you are so used to the watch. I have been trying to sync my watch for the past 2 days again with no success.
I need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
