I had someone very dear to me buy a watch Fitbit Versa 2 for me over Christmas and upon looking at it only the watch was in the box and my friend had a charger I charged it for 24 hours noting would not power up. And I took it back to the place it was bought at and I was told since the product was over the 30 Day return exchange period that I would have to send it back to the company that makes them. I was like okay so the store wrote down the address to where I needed to send it to. And well I was going to go to the Post office the next day but I had to work I had the box ready and everything.
Well to my surprise my Dad mailed it regular US USPS Postal Service to China Fitbit Corporate Offices. That's the address that the store gave me to send it off for a replacement. Fitbit says they can't do anything about it because
I don't have the tracking number my Dad put postage on it using stamps he buys from the post office international stamps he has a scale and everything I thought he had a stamps account but it ns out he doesn't have a postage account. The Fitbit Versa 2 and I choose the Bordeaux / Copper Rose Aluminum style. Just sad I'm in college I can't afford a new one.

Hello @BradisRad2020 seems a sad situation. I don't know why any store would give you the address to the company in China and not for the home office in San Francisco. You could have called support directly or visited these forums to get faster help. Unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done. There might be a slim chance you'll hear back from Fitbit China, but when an item is returned, it needs to have the RMA (return merchandise authorization) number with it. I"m curious as to what store would have given you such misinformation. Hope they don't tell this to others who may be in a similar situation.

It was a Best Buy but that person I am told does not work there anymore. The sad thing is it was bought by someone that has since passed away.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear one. The memory of that gift will remain. They valued you enough to do that for you, so never forget that. It's hard to believe Best Buy would have done such a thing to you.
