I recently got the Versa 2 in December. It was working fine up until a week ago.
It's not responding to touch when I scroll to the left or up to look at the menu. When it finally scrolls and I try to press on an icon (i.e., exercise, alarm), it wont respond to touch again. It sometimes crashes while scrolling and it would just get stuck and stop working. A lot of people seem to be having similar issues based on what I've read in this FitBit community page. I've tried restarting my device several times and the issue still persists. I've had the Alta and Charge 2, and Versa 2 is my least favorite, to say the least -- It is extremely inconvenient and I should not have to spend so much time trying to trouble shoot to try to fix it. I understand things do break sometimes but this is really disappointing.
Please advice on how to move forward.

Mine is doing exactly the same thing!!!! So annoying
Best AnswerI have had this exact same problems for a few weeks now. I get the vibration that there is a reminder but can not see what it says. I had to return the first one I got, as it crashed completely and then got this one to replace it. I like what functions it has, when it works. Very frustrated, and feel a total waste of money.
Best AnswerUpdate! I got a response a little bit later than last time but that's totally understandable considering what the world is going through at the moment. I sent all the info and a video showing both watches not responding and asked for a refund and they said that was ok straight away. Just need to send the watches, charger and accessories back (they pay for it) and I'll get a refund. Excellent CS, they must know something isn't right with the versa 2. Now i just need to figure out which one to get as a replacement
I have the same problem, I also got mine on December and it has been doing this for about a month. Also, my apps notifications are not working properly, my device vibrates whenever it wants but not when it should
Best AnswerI'm having the same problem. I'm five seconds from contacting them for a replacement. I thought I would check the forum to see if others are experiencing the same issue. I have to hold the side button down to reset the tracker in order to get the screen to work. Then it stops working again. This is annoying. I will see what happens the next couple of days and if I keep having an issue I will be sending this one back.
Best AnswerHi,, I'm having the same problem with my fitbit versa 2..It just get back to life after a reset then now the screen is not working again..its a waste of time everytime you have to troubleshoot it
Same problem here! Won’t turn on when I press side button! Battery is also not holding charge as long and now I have a low battery signal with an exclamation mark in the middle of it. Will search this forum for what that means?☹️
Here's what I do that has worked for me so far... When you turn on the display and realize that touch is not working, simply wait for the display to turn off on its own (do not press the button). When the display turns off, press the button to turn the display on and touch is working again. It's a pain but manageable enough not to force me to return it. I also will admit that I have switched to an official Fitbit watchface, not sure if this method works for other watchfaces.

Best AnswerMy screen suddenly stopped working mid- workout. No warning - just a blank white screen, however it’s still syncing and tracking steps, heart rate, etc. via the app. Tried restarting- no luck. Did the online chat and within minutes they confirmed my fitbit was still under warranty (only 4 mos old) and they will be sending me a new one within 5-7 business days. Amazingly easy. Try the online chat for help. Good luck!

Best AnswerI had same issues, but may have found possible solution. First, unpair the device in Fitbit app. Next, factory reset your Fitbit. Then set up your device again in the app. Mine has been unresponsive for days with the touch screen, and after reset I have full motion touch again. It seems issue may be due to 3rd party clock face, although my wife hasn't had any issues with her 3rd party face. Hopefully a factory reset is all it takes and it wont revert back in the upcoming days.
Best Answer@Shanejcoffey , how do you do the hard rest? I tried holding the button and paired with my WiFi but nothing helped. My new Versa 2 is still working 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
