FitBit app is reducing my steps

Hello,

I started using my Fitbit on the 16th of April, so nearly two weeks. The first seven days it was perfect counting up my steps. Then last Thursday morning I noticed in the community section in "friends" that my overall steps had reduced from the day before. Myself and my friend got our watches the same day so we have been pushing each other daily and keeping an eye on the steps. This has happened everyday since and is happening to her now aswell.

Last night I screenshot both our scores, I had a total of 108,829 and she had 108,759 and then this morning I had 88,457 and she had 95,112.  I counted my steps manually by going through each day and excluding yesterday I should have had about 150,000 in total in the 10 days.

Can anyone help? Daily steps are accurate its just the total steps in the app. I use an iPhone.

Thanks so much

This happens to me also , it’s so annoying but I’ve noticed it on all my friends . It possibly has something to do with the average steps you’ve done daily - who knows I’m still confused and wished it never done it
